The Edinburgh Blues Club announces that from 2016 it will support a specific charity each year which we believe will make a significant impact on the chosen charity. Therefore we would be keen to hear from interested charities.

The Edinburgh Blues Club is a non profit making Community Interest Company which promotes a minimum of 12 well attended blues shows in the city. A member of the Edinburgh Social Enterprise Network, the club has has just been named by Wow247 as one of 10 heartwarming good cause businesses in Edinburgh you’ll want to support.

The club would like to encourage submissions on or behalf of interested charities to be our appointed charity for 2016. A shortlist will then be presented to the club’s entire membership in order to choose a nominated charity.

The Edinburgh Blues Club would then work in conjunction with the nominated charity to provide the following benefits:

1. A fixed percentage of takings from the Edinburgh Blues Club’s popular community funded raffle throughout our 2016 shows.

2. A fixed percentage of the profits of our new range of official Edinburgh Blues Club shirts released in January 2016. The shirts, featuring the below image, will be available exclusively at forthcoming Edinburgh Blues Club shows and via the Edinburgh Blues Club website.

3. The inclusion of the charity’s name and logo on future Edinburgh Blues Club promotional material, including posters, flyers, newsletters and website and social media posts.

There will also be opportunities for the chosen charity to speak about their cause and activities, if convenient, in addition to providing their own literature at Edinburgh Blues Club shows.

If you would like to submit an interest on or behalf of a UK registered charity, please contact Edinburgh Blues Club via email only to duncan@edinburgh-blues.co.uk by Sunday 10 January 2016 to be included in the short list.

It would be a great PARTNERSHIP, and a huge boost in publicity for both organisations – blues for bairns!

Please send your requests via email to duncan@edinburgh-blues.co.uk with some more details about the charity and I’ll add them to the shortlist. Thanks
