Ryan McgarveyRyan McGarvey has in a relatively short amount of time not only gained an international fan base, but admiration from his personal idols as well. In the past few years of Ryan’s career he has had the honour, and the pleasure of sharing the bill with such top name acts as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa, Gov’t Mule, and many, many more. His debut CD release “Forward In Reverse” reached the top 20 (out of over 200,000 Artist’s CD’s) on the best sellers list on CDBaby.com (The worlds largest online independent distributor). With rave reviews complimenting everything from his fiery guitar chops, which range from everything from delta slide to heavy rock, his unique vocals, or mature songwriting skills, Ryan McGarvey’s live shows will leave you breathless and wanting more. Absorbing influences from everything from early delta blues, to classic hard rock, to more contemporary blues/rock artist’s of today. Ryan has gathered numerous accolades over the recent years. Most notably including in 2006 Ryan was named Guitar Center ‘s “Guitarmaggeddon: Next King Of The Blues” champion of New Mexico . In 2007 Ryan took home the New Mexico Music Award for “Blues Song Of The Year” for his song “Cryin’ Over You”. Ryan has featured by the editors of Guitar Player Magazine multiple times. A life changing accomplishment occurred in 2010, when Ryan was personally chosen by Eric Clapton from over 4000+ artists from around the world to perform at his Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago. From 2011-2012 Ryan & his Band embarked on multiple, extensive, and very successful European tours to rave reviews, and endless requests for returns.

In 2013 Ryan received the prestigious award of “Best New Talent” in the notorious Guitar Player Magazine. With a solid rhythm section backing him, Ryan McGarvey and his band are embarking on bigger and better things every day…Tours are constantly being planned.. Don’t miss your chance to catch them in a town near you !!!

“I met Ryan in 2006 and was very impressed at the depth of his influence and his ability to put said influences together in his own way .To watch him grow as an artist and to hear his name mentioned to me as much as it has is a testament to his hard work and skill. ” Joe Bonamassa

“Ryan’s playing has the passion and exuberance of youth, but its further lifted by a deep dedication to his craft. His technique is awe-inspiring, but its the dawning subtleties and emotional range that hints of the greatest possibilities” Ian Moore

Brian Rawson Band

Brian Rawson BandOriginally from Belfast, Brian Rawson played with The Tearjerkers (Good Vibrations/Phonogram) who toured with Thin Lizzy, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Doll By Doll and Rachel Sweet. He moved to London where he played guitar on the demos for Jim Lyttle’s band, who would later become Rogue Male, produced by Jimmy Bain (Rainbow/Wild Horses/Dio) who also played bass on the track, “Rough, Tough & Pretty Too.” Brian relocated to California where he played the circuit for a number of years with various bands and played guitar on singer/songwriter, Jon Lacabanne’s album, “Amen.” Brian Rawson joined Sweet for a British tour and played guitar on Irish singer/songwriter, Deidre Cunningham’s album, “Sunny Days” before heading to Nashville where he played guitar with “Handsome” Mick Rowe’s band, Nineteen88 and recorded Whiskey Hill’s song, “Killing Time”. Moving to Glasgow, Brian joined the Lynsey Dolan Band, co-writing the track “Do Right Man” which appears on the “Jock’s Juke Joint Volume 2” compilation before working with Emma Jane on the Red Shoes EP.

Just over two and a half years ago, Brian was introduced to bass player, Jim Carr (Little Head/ Big in America) and they started working on material Brian had written and formed the Brian Rawson Band. They eventually hooked up with drummer, Iain McDougall (Big Wednesday/Lynsey Dolan Band) with whom I’d worked before and singer, Robin Neilson, who Brian had worked with in Emma Jane’s band and briefly, Lynsey Dolan. Despite the current line-up having only been together less than a year, The Brian Rawson Band have played with Wishbone Ash, Pat McManus, Russ Tippins, headlined the “Blues Day on The Ferry” and “Stormy Sunday” at The Jazz Bar in Edinburgh. On March 22nd, the band will head to Wales where they will play Classic Rock Magazine’s “HRH Blues” festival alongside Dr Feelgood, Jo Harman, Pat McManus, Simon McBride, Band of Friends, Stevie Nimmo, Grainne Duffy to name but a few. Their debut album is released on 3 March 2014.
